OKAY - so now comes the time for the Champagne.....
.......and the Speeches.
(hope we didn't offend anyone! - Nah !)
This guy is Menderes, He's the restaurant owner - a top bloke.
And this is Martin Scorcesi. He's in charge of the Wedding Video (coming to a cinema near you shortly, Premiering in Leicester Square next month).
Next came the supreme team effort to sort the tables out for the 'Wedding Breakfast'
There were 3 long tables - all looking glam and beautiful !
We had arranged for our favourite restaurant to provide the
4-course meal - It was traditionally turkish and was delicious.
- Lentil Soup
- Roasted Peppers / Aubergine Dip / Borek / Tzatziki /Hot bread etc
- Turkish Kavurma - This is wild rice/chicken+beef in a spicy sauce/garlic potatoes/roasted med veggies and it is all served up in a traditional wok-type metal dish which stands over a burner.
- Baklava (we took ages to eat the meal and in the excitement this was left in the fridges ! Crew enjoyed it though!)
"Bride & Groom"
Food all safely delivered......It's time for Menderes, his Chef and Waiter to head back to Marmaris, with all of their pots, pans, dishes etc etc etc.
Bless Em !
Menderes was very suprised by it all, saying what a great wedding it was and what lovely friends and family we had. He had never done this on a Gulet before and said that it all felt very special.
