- KAREOKE - Next friday 4th December in YM Bar. There will be a very special visitor around 9 - 9.30pm, so whatever you do, DO NOT MISS IT !!
- QUIZ on Monday is CANCELLED. Many people are on the Progressive Supper.
- SAUNA - in YM is now open 3 days a week.
- CRAFTS CLUB on Sundays - is to take place in the YM Restaurant Annexe - not in the Library. See Events page for details

- FILM NIGHT is planned for this Sunday evening at 7pm in the YM Restaurant Annex (with popcorn!) There are 3 films to choose from – contact Apparition to vote beforehand. ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ – ‘My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding’ – or ‘The DaVinci Code’. Look them up on IMDB.com maybe?
- IZMIR TRIP - Gwen from KW is thinking about organising a coach trip to Izmir again this year. It's great for shopping and it's a good time to stock up on Christmas goodies and presents. Please contact her if you might be interested as she is debating over whether or not it should be a day-trip or an overnight stay depending on what people would prefer to do.
- HAMSI/FISH+CHIPS NIGHT - Don't forget that every tuesday night in the YM restaurant. A few of us were there last night and it was yummy - 8TL and 6.75TL. A Happy Hour bottle of wine is 15TL and large Beer is 3TL.

-FLIGHT INFORMATION - There are some new routes available. Pegasus are flying from Dalaman to Stansted via Istanbul for cheap prices with a 25kg baggage allowance. They also fly to Germany. Fly Thomas Cook had a flight available for late December for £66 yesterday! All the links are on our USEFUL WEBSITES page. There are other useful airport and transport links there too.
- WIFI in YM - Does anyone have any idea who is "Port Yasmine" on channel one sometimes? Everyone is very keen to find out who this is and the marina staff are working on it. Any ideas to speed this process up - please let us know (or Utku). It is spoiling internet use for everyone else in the Marina. We will keep you posted.
-CRAFT CLUB – is starting on Sunday 29th November. 10am every Sunday in the annex of the YM restaurant. beading, jewellery, knitting, crochet, embroidery – lots of gossip with maybe some cake and coffee!! All welcome.
-YM SUPERMARKET is now closing at 20.00. They can also provide your boat with DIESEL now. Someone will bring it to your boat in Jerry Cans.
-OUTBOARD SEMINAR - LADIES. Blue Matisse has offered to do a seminar for ladies on outboard motors. Trouble-shooting might be a good idea when you are on the beach on your own having just picked up the days groceries! Contact Blue Matisse for details.
UPDATE WEDNESDAY 18th NOVEMBER
- MAJOR TURKISH HOLIDAY starts on 27th November for 4 days. Banks etc. will be closed. Check the office and shop times in the Marinas and in town. ATM’s also tend to run out of CASH, so stock up early. See the Marmaris page and link to “Turkish Public Holidays” for details of this celebration.
- BUS TO MUGLA MARKET – has been cancelled. Numbers were too small – it was probably too short notice. Watch this space for the next outing to Mugla market or contact Karen to register some interest, so she can have an idea of the numbers interested.

- PROGRESSIVE SUPPER is planned for 30th November. As this will have to take on people's boats and is being organised by Cloud 9 in Netsel, it is only open to Netsel cruisers. Contact Cloud 9 for details. Maybe someone in YM might like to organise one?
UPDATE - SATURDAY 7th NOVEMBER
- SPECIAL FOOD !!!! Interested in ordering some christmas goodies? Interested in buying homemade sausages, pies, marmalade, scotch eggs, pasties etc....? click at top of the page - 'special food'.
- BBQ & BOAT JUMBLE - is planned for sunday 15th November in YM. Jumble starts at 10am and if you want a table, put your name on the list in Reception. The BBQ starts at 1pm, will cost 12.5TL per person and tickets can be purchased from the restaurant.
- LIVEABOARDS MEETING at YM. Is to be held on Friday 13th November in the Library. This is for all liveaboards (Mr and Mrs Yottiie).
- WALK/HIKE sunday (see below) is cancelled due to poor weather.
- HOME JAMES SHOPPING TRIP - gwen is organising a small bus trip on Friday next, 13th Nov. Kipa (large, discount), Tespo (bulk and individual purchases of almost everything) and the Import shop (pork, chutneys, English and American and other international food products).
8-10 persons max - 10TL per person - usually a 3 hour trip. Contact Gwen on KW.
- RUGBY - 2 games are being shown in the bar at YM today (Oz+Eng - NZ+Wales).
- ATATURK. - don't forget - 10th November is the anniversary of the death of Kemal Ataturk. Sirens will sound at 9am and the whole of Turkey will observe a 5minutes silence (as will the marinas and probably the morning Net on CH69).
UPDATE – THURSDAY 5th NOVEMBER
- HAPPY MEAL MENUS – in the YM Restaurant every Friday evening. This starts this Friday 6th November - 6.30 to 9pm. There will 2 menus which alternate every week. Menus have now been emailed to us - details on the Events page as soon as we get them.
- YM SUPERMARKET – now closes at 9pm instead of 10pm
- SKIPPERS DE-STRESS FORUM – this friday they will be discussing the laying-up of diesel engines for the winter. Please bring any tips you have too.

UPDATE – 2 NOVEMBER
- LIBRARY YM – A few kind volunteers have spent a long time sorting out the books in the Library last week. They were throwing away threadbare books and re-sorting other books into alphabetical order by author and into different languages. They ask - PLEASE be good yotties and keep the Library tidy. Please put books onto the shelves in a good order and in the correct place.
- SAUNA - It's now open !! Wednesdays and Fridays - 10am to 6pm. Ask in the office for the key if it's locked.
- CAPPADOCIA – Gwen is organizing a trip for later this month. Please see ‘Events’ page.
- FOR THE KIDS – Wednesdays and Saturdays at 3pm there is something happening in YM Restaurant to do with Popcorn and Candy Floss !
- COMPUTER MAN IN YM – I have been asked – his name is Utku.

-LIVEABOARD LIST - This is a list that is produced every winter by the office in YM and lists names, email addresses etc.\of the Yotties atht are here for the winter. As soon as the list is in Reception for us to fill in, I will let you know on this page.

- CLOTHING. - As in previous years, if you have any clothing that you do not want anymore, take it into the office in a plastic bag. They will ensure that it goes to a local charity.
- AVON - The lady who provides the Tea in the Front Office (the office behind reception - she has a small room on the left before you walk into the cutoms bit) is still providing AVON. You can have a look at her catalogue and she will get the items for you in 3days or so.
- GALVANISING CHAIN and ANCHORS - Paul from Ballena is organising this again this year and he is in YM (foxtrot) with Gaby on Ganova.
